Record 85% online retailers likely to offer special Cyber Monday deals

Record 85% online retailers likely to offer special Cyber Monday dealsWith the findings of an eHoliday survey by Shop. org revealing that a record 85 percent online retailers will be offering special deals on Cyber Monday, it is being speculated that the number of shoppers for the Cyber Monday deals will be far more than the number of Black Friday shoppers.

Since Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving when retailers allure the shoppers with attractive online deals, an increasing number of buyers apparently choose to shop for the best deals right from the comfort of their homes, rather than shopping at crowded stores on Black Friday.

Given the fact that most of the Cyber Monday online deals are as attractive as the Black Friday deals at retail stores, more and more shoppers are seemingly getting hooked to the idea of shopping from the convenience of their homes, especially with the `free shipping' advantage offered by most online retailers.

With online shopping this coming Monday likely to edge out Black Friday shopping this year, a PriceGrabber. com study has revealed that nearly 50 percent of all the Thanksgiving shoppers will probably shop online on Cyber Monday.

Moreover, despite the fact that Monday will be a regular work day, the Cyber Monday shopping spree will remain unaffected; and, going by the National Retail Federation's projections, 72 million people will likely shop online for holiday gifts from the office!
