Washington, February 18 : The "Real Housewives of New York City" are allegedly yet to realise the hard-hitting effect of recession on the daily lives of people.

The ladies revealed they were facing a "tough" time on compromising their plush life styles while dealing with the new economic realities.

"What was hard for me was giving up my live-in maid five days a week," Fox News quoted housewife Ramona Singer as saying.

Countess Luann De Lesseps added: "I''m miss buying my tiaras."

But housewife Alex McCord was said to be sort of doing her bit to better the situation, saying: "It''s important to go out to dinner." (ANI)
