After winning appreaciation in his villainous performances in flicks like Raajamanikyam, Ranjith would now be wearing the director's cap for upcoming flick Rayilu. The flick is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Sallapam, which earned Dileep and Manju Warrier stardom. The Tamil version will have its director Ranjith and Anglo-Indian actress Caroline as the lead protagonists.
