Ramsarup Industries Limited, a leading steel wires company with expertise in Infrastructure and T&D, bagged orders worth Rs 62 crores from the Rajasthan Urban Sector Development Investment Program (RUIDP-Phase-II) for laying of sewerage lines at Jhunjhunu and Nagaur districts in northern Rajasthan.

The company has been carrying out successfully several similar projects in Rajasthan. The current order book of Ramsarup stands over Rs 500 crore.

Ramsarup Group is mainly into the manufacture of steel wires (black and galvanized) and TMT (thermo-mechanically-treated) bars, which it supplies to the power and infrastructure sector.

The scrip of the company today closed at Rs 44 on BSE, down 5% compared to its previous close.
