Washington, Nov 7 : Rachel Bilson has welcomed a baby girl with Canadian actor beau Hayden Christensen and the couple has named their daughter Briar Rose, it has been revealed.

This is couple's first child together and the name is a nod to the 1959 classic 'Sleeping Beauty' sheltering Princess Aurora from Maleficent's curse, where the three fairies call the little girl Briar Rose, Us Magazine reported.

Bilson and Christensen first met on set of the 2008 film 'Jumper' and got engaged in December 2008.

The duo quietly called off their engagement in August 2010, but reconciled three months later. (ANI)
