PrioVR looks to be perfect match for Oculus Rift
The recently demoed PrioVR suit system successfully showed that that it is capable of bringing unmatched motion-control experience to the world of virtual reality games.
The PrioVR suit system makes use of a combination of "wearable tech" and hand-held peripherals that ensure your game-based motions are captuered with great accuracy.
PrioVR will make its innovative suit system available in two versions - full-body version and half-body version. The full-body version will track the movements of the player's head, arms, legs as well as torso to allow their on-screen characters to move in the same manner.
Putting on the Oculus Rift will enable the player to maneuver within a videogame by tilting his/her head, which makes the suit system a perfect match for Oculus Rift.
A second version of the suit works only for the upper part of the player's body. It is suitable for those who want to play games while sitting on the sofa or bed.
In October last year, the Kickstarter campaign for the suit system had failed, but that didn't discourage developer. The company is now planning to launch another Kickstarter campaign for the product in February. The half-body PrioVR suit is expected to sell for around $270, while the full-body version is expected to cost around $400.
