Prices of Crude oil, gasoline and heating oil fall
Crude oil futures finished 1.8 percent lower on Friday, finishing down $1.52, to close at $80.68 at the end of trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Prices for crude began the day down, in part because of mixed news from Europe. After a month of negotiations and various pledges of support, German officials said Thursday Greece should look to the International Monetary Fund for help with its debt.
With a declined of 1.7 percent, Gasoline for May delivery ended at $2.26 a gallon. Closing at $2.08 a gallon, heating oil for the same month delivery was off 1.8 percent. Natural gas for May finished the Friday trading session up 2 percent to $4.17 per million British thermal units.
AAA further added that at the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $2.811 per gallon Friday from Thursday's $2.799 per gallon. (With Inputs from Agencies)
