Potential Buyers Of iPhones Turning Their Backs

Earlier in July, when it was reported that soon India will see the arrival of Apple’s 3G Potential Buyers Of iPhones Turning Their Backs iPhones, the customers were too enthusiastic to buy it. Many readers of the newspapers which had reported about it had responded back to the agencies that they would go for the 3G iPhone.

But now however, the same enthusiasm of the users seems to have taken a low ride. It has just been a few days since the iPhones have been introduced in the country, and already customers who at one point were too eager to buy it have completely diverted their minds from it. The reason is quite obvious. The heavy price of the iPhone comes and stands as a hurdle between the potential buyers and 3G iPhones.

The iPhones which were launched in India by Vodafone and Bharti Aritel have a heavy price tag which number of customers can’t afford. The price for the 8GB model is Rs31,000 whereas the 16GB model of the same has been priced at Rs36,100. The customers who will have to pay such heavy amount will definitely think twice before investing in 3G iPhone, even when the 3G network in India has not been established.

However, there are still some who doesn’t really feel the price is that a big hurdle and many have been reported to buy the latest 3G iPhone.

But still the companies have started feeling that with such a heavy price tag; the potential buyers won’t come in for purchases. As Neeraj Jain, one of those who wanted to buy the new gadget but kept his desires under the sheet because of the price remarked, “They have begun to realize their mistake and time is not far before they are forced to slash the prices. Why else would they start lining up loans and EMI options so soon?”
