Plans for Michael Jackson TV special ‘crushed’Washington, July 23 : Major networks have refused to buy rights to a Michael Jackson TV special as the promoters AEG Live have demanded 20 million dollars for the show.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the program was to supplement a Jackson movie that will reportedly include footage shot during rehearsals for the late entertainer''s planned comeback concerts.

But the TV show was to be have been done without the rare video, Contactmusic reports.

It was only set to feature singers who meant to take up Jackson''s role, using the same costumes and choreography that was prepared for the O2concerts.

Hence, all major networks do not believe it is a good bargain.

A network source told the Times: "And the cost of that thing is 20 million dollars? With no Michael Jackson? Ha!" (ANI)
