PepsiCo launches lemon juice, 'Nimbooz'Leading soft drink manufacturer, PepsiCo launched its non-carbonated packaged nimbu paani 'Nimbooz', under its brand 7Up in India on Monday and announced to add more products in its cart within couple of months. 'Nimbooz' will be available in 200 ml bottle and 350 ml bottle for Rs 10 and Rs 15 respectively.

PepsiCo India Executive Director (Marketing), Punita Lal, said, "The total size of the Indian juice market would be around one billion cases, including the unorganized. However, the packaged branded juice market would be very insignificant. Our focus would be to drive the market as well as gain momentum of our growth with the launch of this product."

She said that the company hopes good revenue from the potential juice market of India. The firm may launch more flavours in the coming months after accessing results from 'Nimbooz'.

Regarding availability of citrus products, she said that the firm has already contracted farmers for other citrus products, like orange and lemon as well. PepsiCo would inspire citrus fruit cultivation offering lucrative price for the products to the Indian peasantry.
