Washington, Nov 7 : Tina Fey has announced that she is "packing up her wig" and retiring her ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) impersonation of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

The creator, producer and star of "30 Rock", who bears an uncanny resemblance to Palin, made the announcement on "The Oprah Winfrey Show".

"I am going to retire, but I think if need be I think Kristen Wiig from "Saturday Night Live" would do a great job... I think I am going to pack up my wig," CBS News quoted Fey, as telling Palin.

Lahore, Nov 7: Alaska Governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who attracted much flak during the run up to the just concluded presidential election because of lack of foreign affairs experience, did not know that Africa was a continent, a Fox News correspondent has revealed.

Quoting unnamed McCain aides as saying, the correspondent who extensively covered the election, said that she could not name all three countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement (the US, Canada and Mexico) and declined to prepare for her now infamous Katie Couric interview.

Phoenix, Nov 6: Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today said that she can’t even imagine running for President in 2012, but added that she has not closed the door on that possibility.

CNN quoted Palin as saying that “2012 sounds so far off that I can’t even imagine what I’d be doing then.”

Washington, Nov 6: Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has dismissed reports that she is a ‘diva’, insisting that she never made unreasonable demands on the McCain campaign during her time as a vice presidential nominee.

Speaking to TV reporters in Phoenix, Palin said that rumours of tension between her and Republican nominee John McCain and members of his staff were ‘absolutely false.’

London, November 5 : Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been turned into a calendar girl by one of her friends, who has served as her as Deputy Mayor in Wasilla.

Judy Patrick’s calendar shows Palin as posing with a gun, and included dozens of her pictures clicked while she was on the job and at home with her family.

In one of the images, Palin is wrapped in the American flag, with a sidebar of pictures of her and her children.

“This flag photo was taken just days after the terrorist attacks on 9/11 in 2001,” British tabloid The Sun quoted the caption as saying. . "Sarah, like the rest of the nation, was trying to cope with the attacks on American soil and demonstrating her patriotism,” the caption added.
