London, Mar 31: English comedian Russell Brand has vowed to give away his fortune to help ease world poverty.
Brand, 33, had written on his website about how he felt about his fame and his wealth, and how it only brought him more problems.
“I’m proud to say that after a relatively short period of wealth I now recognise the insufficiency of personal privilege in a world with so much poverty,” the Daily Star quoted him as writing.

London, Mar 20 : US President Barack Obama and Brit actor Russell Brand are being considered for an appearance in American animated sitcom `The Simpsons'.
Executive producer's James L Brooks and Al Jean hope that 47-year-old Obama will become the first president in office to appear on the show.
"We'd love to have Barack on the show. No president has agreed to do it yet but we'll keep asking," the Sun quoted Brooks as telling TV Biz.
"We're putting all the right signals out," he said.
London, Mar 11 : British comic Russell Brand fears he may miss out on a role in the next sequel of Pirates Of The Caribbean, as he is too busy.
Brand was recently rumoured to be in negotiations to play the brother of Johnny Depp''s character, Captain Jack Sparrow, in a planned sequel in the hit flick.
However, Brand insists that even if he is offered a part in the film, he might not be able to sign up because he is swamped with other commitments.
