Wording of “Stolen Generations” apology to be known on Tuesday

Kevin RuddMelbourne, Feb. 11: The wording of the apology to be given by the Labour Government of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to the “Stolen Generations” will be publicly released on Tuesday.

According to The Australian, Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese has confirmed that the motion for a debate by Parliament will be formally lodged on Tuesday.

"We're getting close as I understand it. I'm not a party to those negotiations, but the wording I'm sure will be got right," Albanese told ABC Radio.
