New Delhi, Dec 22: Kate Winslet has confessed that her steamy scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in new movie `Revolutionary Road' were `too weird' and she couldn''t wait it to end.
The 33-year-old actress, who first starred opposite DiCaprio in 1997 epic `Titanic', revealed that the reason wasn''t her shyness or the crew members, but it was her husband, the film''s director Sam Mendes, shouting instructions in the background, reports the China Daily.
"Sam was saying, ''OK, Leo, press your fingers right into her back, hard. Grab her butt, Leo.'' All I could think was, ''Please let this be over soon''," Winslet said.
Washington, Dec 22 : Hollywood actress Kate Winslet has reportedly scrapped plans to appear in a planned movie on the life story of British designer Dame Vivenne Westwood.
The `Titanic' star was allegedly in negations to portray the fashion mogul in a forthcoming biopic planned by Universal movies.
However, Winslet is now said to have dropped out of the film, amid rumours that Westwood was not pleased with the choice of leading lady.
"Kate''s people are saying she was never formally committed to the project but there are whispers Dame Vivienne didn''t want Kate playing her," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling British newspaper the Mail.

When asked about if she feels that she''s a feminist the actress replied, "probably I am", though not a strong one.

London, Dec 19 : English actress Kate Winslet has been shortlisted for two categories at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild awards.
Winslet, 33, has been nominated for best actress for Revolutionary Road, and for supporting actress in post-war drama The Reader.
The Titanic star, who is a five-time Oscar nominee, had been nominated at the Golden Globe awards too for the same films, and she received another two nominations from the London Film Critics'' Circle on December 18.
London, December 11 : Kate Winslet has revealed that she has the delivery room to thank for making her drop her clothes onscreen without any inhibitions.
The `Titanic' star said that nudity was not an issue with her since she did it for aesthetic reasons and confessed that her time in the delivery room had taught her to wave goodbye to her vanity and self-consciousness.
