Kolkata, Sept 10 : Doctors attending on former West Bengal Chief Minister Jyoti Basu, who was admitted to a nursing home on Sunday, said on Wednesday he was examined by the medical board and also an eminent neurosurgeon.
Basu had suffered a head injury after falingl at his Indira Bhavan residence on Friday. He was hospitalised with a blood clot in his brain.
His condition is stable and keeping well. He had a normal diet," a medical bulletin issued by the hospital said.
