Islamabad, Dec. 11 : US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte has arrived in the Pakistan capital, and is expected to discuss the latest situation on ground vis-a-vis relations between Pakistan and India, especially in the context of last month's terror attacks in Mumbai.
According to Geo News, Negroponte will hold discussions with President Asif Ali Zardari and other top Pakistani officials.
Washington, Sept 19: US’ unilateral strikes on Pakistani soil was not a viable long term solution to the prevailing situation along the Pak-Afghan border, instead co-operative efforts between the anti-terrorism partners - Pakistan and the US – would provide the best way forward, said US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte.
Phnom Penh - US Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte flew into the northern Cambodian tourist hub of Siem Reap in a relaxed start to his three-day official visit, touring the ancient temples of Angkor Wat, local officials said on Sunday.
Negroponte arrived in Cambodia from neighbouring Vietnam for a visit which will include meetings with Prime Minister Hun Sen and an array of ministers including Foreign Minister Hor Namhong.
