Gazza reveals facets of his 12-month nightmare

London, Feb. 24 : A troubled former England football star Paul Gascoigne a. k. a. Gazza has revealed how he careered towards insanity during a year of drink and drugs hell.

Gazza opened his heart to give a painfully honest account of the worst 12 months of his life.

He confessed to snorting cocaine and revealed how cops dragged him from his hotel bath amid family fears that he would kill himself.

He also revealed how he downed hundreds of bottles of wine and gin over a six-week spell during which he didn't get a wink of sleep, and admitted he became so disturbed he thought his toy parrots were real - and his only friends.

Former England footballer Paul Gascoigne aka “Gazza”London, Feb 21: Fallen football legend Gazza aka Paul Gascoigne has told his family that he has got rid of his alcohol addiction, and is keen to reunite with them.

Gazza, who was disowned by his own son Reagan in the documentary called `Saving Gazza', told his sister that he wants to reunite with his family, especially his son.

"I've not had a drink for weeks and this is the best I've felt in a long time," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

Gazza was ‘tricked’ into doing shocking documentary, says pal

London, Jan 15 : Fallen football legend Paul Gascoigne a. k. a Gazza was tricked into appearing in the shocking TV documentary Surviving Gazza', according to his pal.

Jimmy "Five Bellies" Gardner, who has known Gazza since childhood, opened up about the troubled star's fury over the `stitch-up'.

And he feels that Gazza was talked into doing it by Sheryl and producers while he was incapable of making a rational decision because he was in an alcoholic haze.

He said that Gazza might also lodge a formal complaint with broadcasting watchdog Ofcom about the Channel 4 show `Surviving Gazza'.
