Washington, Mar 03 : TV actress Anna Friel has turned down several TV offers in a bid to focus on her career in the film industry.

Friel, who shot to fame with `Pushing Daisies' sitcom, is currently looking forward to launching a career in Hollywood.

"I was incredibly honoured and flattered (to be offered more TV roles). To be considered for anything is just lovely," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Friel is not jumping at TV offers, as she is frantic about venturing into Hollywood.

London, Feb 27 : Actress Anna Friel is all set to go topless in new film `Bathory', wherein she plays legendary Countess Elizabeth Bathory, the most notorious female serial killer in history.

The `Pushing Daisies' star will take up the role of Bathory, who is known as the murderess with the biggest ever body count.

She was accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls and young women following her husband''s death.

Although she reportedly boasts a victim count of 600, she was only convicted on 80 counts.

Anna grabbed the role after `The Faculty' star Famke Janssen couldn't play the part and dropped out.

London, February 10 : Actress Anna Friel has revealed that how embarrassed she felt after breaking wind on the set of her new film `Land of the Lost'.

The former Brookside star revealed that it happened in front of Hollywood star Will Ferrell.

She blamed vegetable juice drinks for the smelly act.

"I've never been so mortified. It let off the most awful smell," the Sun quoted her as saying.

Anna recently shot a scene in which she jumps out of the motor and pumps up a flat tyre - dressed in nothing but lacy suspenders and a baggy top.

In the scene, Friel is shown breaking down on her way back from working at a dodgy massage parlour.
