A feeder supplying electricity to the water pumping station at Ravet on Sunday evening crashed causing interruption in water supply on Monday. Various areas of Pimpri Chinchwad have to face water deficiency; few areas received water at low pressure while some areas do not receive water.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corporation Ltd worked for over 10 hours and finally feeder was repaired at 5 am on Monday.

In total there are two feeders near the pumping station, one for the PCMC and other for the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation.

PCMC feeder undergone few damages on Friday, soon after the rainfall and finally breakdown on Sunday, evening. The repairs were initiated at 7.30 pm by the personnel's of PCMC and MSEDCL and get 1finished by 5 am on Monday morning, resuming the water supply.
