Paul McCartney performs for Obama at White House concert
Sir Paul McCartney has performed for US President Barack Obama at the White House. His performance has been the most attractive event of the award ceremony in which he received an award from the US President. Mr. McCartney has been awarded the third annual Gershwin Award for popular song.
After that he has performed at White House. He has dedicated this song to the Obama family and the lyrics were directed to the first lady Michelle Obama.
Other performers in the East room gig included Corinne Bailey, Stevie Wonder and Foo fighters' Dave Grohi. Paul Simon has won the first inaugural prize.
The award has been presented by the Congress Library of US. Sir Paul has expressed his contentment for receiving the award and he said that he was much exited to perform the song 'Michelle' at the White House Concert dedicating it to Mrs. Obama.
He also played a string of hits, which included "Got To Get You Into My Life" track. He has said that it was very special to perform at White House in front of Presidential family.
