Parties to continue discussions today
Kathmandu, May 23 : Various political parties are continuing their discussions on ways to resolve the political deadlock in Nepal.
According to Nepalnews, the Nepali Congress (NC), the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML), Maoists, the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) and the other parties will hold bilateral and multilateral talks.
On Thursday, NC, UML, MJF, Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party had agreed that the Maoists should lead the next government but only after the constitution is amended so that a government can be formed or dissolved on the basis of simple majority.
The parties have less than five days to break the deadlock as the first Constituent Assembly (CA) meeting has been slated for May 28. (ANI)
