Pak Minister sees India’s hand in violence; Anti-terror gadgets being acquired
Islamabad, Mar 3: The Caretaker Interior Minister of Pakistan, Lt-Gen (Retd) Hamid Nawaz Khan said that Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing
(RAW), was involved in acts of terrorism in his country.
“We are sure that RAW is involved and there is no doubt about it,” he told a private news channel.
He also said terrorist activities could not be sustained for such a long period without the help of foreign elements, adding there was a growing perception that some other countries might also be involved in these activities.
The Minister said the interior ministry was studying a plan to install scanners and other modern equipment at entry and exit points of all cities to prevent such acts of terrorism in future, the Dawn reported.
He said that three to four types of equipment were being considered for the purpose.
He also said that the use of modern technology would be helpful in post-event investigations. (ANI)
