Orange launches low cost touch screen Orange Vegas phone in UKIt’s stylish, smallest, lightest, and cheapest touch screen mobile available on the UK market; well, that’s what Orange UK is touting and claiming about its newly launched Orange Vegas. The mobile network operator and internet service provider of UK – Orange UK has recently rolled out Orange Vegas in the UK market.

According to Orange UK, the Orange Vegas is elegant, lightweight, low cost touch screen phone featuring 2.4-inch touchscreen offering simply easy one-touch access to a number of features of the easy-to-use phone. The phone also features a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 and media player, and a built-in FM radio for passionate music buffs.

“The (Orange) Vegas is the perfect handset for customers who wish to have the touch screen experience without breaking the bank. It provides a good functionality with a touch screen at a cheap and affordable price. Combined with our pay as you go Dolphin package which offers free access to Bebo, Facebook and MySpace - it really does offer consumers tremendous value,” said the Orange UK's director of devices, Francois Mahieu, at the launch of Orange Vegas.  

Orange UK has recommended using the PAYG (pay as you go) Orange Vegas with the Dolphin package; top-up by £10 on Orange pay as you go Dolphin gives 300 free texts, £10 credit, and free access to the social networks including Bebo, Facebook and MySpace. According to Orange UK, PAYG Dolphin is the best value package and the Orange Vegas is best value phone, and the two in combination give best value to users.

The Orange Vegas offers in-built memory of 128MB and a microSD card slot to expand the storage capacity up to 4GB. The Orange Vegas is available for only £48.50 for PAYG users, and the phone is also available for pay monthly customers. The Orange Vegas is available in black and exclusively from Orange in pink.
