Washington, Apr. 30 : President Barack Obama has given himself a grade of satisfactory with room for improvement on completing 100 days in office.

"On my 100th day in office, I''ve come back to report to you, the American people, that we have begun to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off," the President said in a campaign-style town-hall meeting in Arnold, Mo.

"I''m pleased with the progress we''ve made, but I''m not satisfied. I''m confident in the future, but I''m not content with the present. The hundredth day might be a good time to reflect on where we are, but it''s more important to where we''re going that we focus on the future," Obama said.

Obama pointed to passing the economic recovery bill to clear away the "wreckage" of the recession, writing a budget blueprint, working to unfreeze credit markets and helping struggling homeowners as accomplishments of his first few months, reports the Daily News.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said: "He''s happy with what we have started to achieve, understanding that we have a long way to go, that the American people are more concerned with what we''re doing each and every day, not simply what we''re doing on the 100th day or the 101st." (ANI)
