Now, Queen Latifah robbed of pricey jewelry

Queen LatifahWashington, Jan 1: Just days after Paris Hilton's pad was ransacked, Queen Latifah has now fallen victims to thieves.

Over 10,000 dollars worth of sentimental jewelry was stolen from Queen Latifah ''s luxury villa in Tobago, according to the Caribbean island''s local newspaper.

Two gold rings, a gold chain and a silver ring were allegedly taken from singer's 1,000dollars-a-night villa, reports Us Magazine.

Tobago police told the paper they believe a staff member committed the theft.

Local police have also reportedly questioned several employees of Stone Haven Villas.

"Several searches are being carried out and the police are trying to have the jewelry returned to Queen Latifah. Investigators said the larceny seems to be an inside job and efforts are being made round the clock to make a breakthrough," acting police commissioner James Philbert told the newspaper.

Latifah may offer a reward for the jewelry in order to have it returned before she heads home from her vacation Wednesday, the paper reported. (ANI)
