Cool under fire Clinton calls on FBI to release 'complete facts' of email review

Washington D.C., Oct. 29 : With trouble resurfacing for Hillary Clinton as her email controversy roared back to the forefront of the presidential campaign, the Democrat Presidential nominee took the developments under her stride and called on the FBI to release all the facts pertaining to the case immediately.

Yesterday, FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers the bureau is reviewing new emails related to her personal server, CNN reports.

This latest development, which has come 11 days before the election and nearly four months after Comey said he wouldn't recommend criminal charges because of Clinton's use of the server, is bound to needle her campaign yet again.

However, Clinton has strongly called on the FBI to release the "full and complete facts" about its review.

JK: Heavy mortar shelling underway in Kathua, RS Pura sector

RS Pura (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct. 29 : Heavy mortar shelling by Pakistan has been reported in Kathua and Abdullian in RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning at around 7:20 a.m.

Meanwhile, Indian troops are giving a befitting response to the ceasefire violation initiated by Pakistan.

"Pakistan violated ceasefire by using mortar shells in Kathua sector of. BSF retaliated with small arms," Border Security Forces (BSF) confirmed to ANI.

Till now no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, in an encounter close to the Line of Control in Machhal sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district, an Indian Army soldier lost his life and a terrorist was neutralised.

Tibet museum revisits China's Cultural Revolution via photo exhibition

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh) [India], Oct. 29 : A Tibet Museum in Dharamsala recently organized a photo exhibition titled 'Revisiting the Cultural Revolution in Tibet'.

The Religion and Culture Minister of the Tibetan government in exile Karma Gelek inaugurated the exhibition.

"It's important to look back and revisit what transpired during the entire decade of intense crackdown on the Tibetan people," said the spokesperson of the Tibetan government in-exile, Dhardon Sharling.

"This exhibition is a stark reminder of the reality that continues to haunt all of us, but at the same time, looking at how we can move forward despite the brutal history that we have left behind, how to look into the future and look positive," he added.

CRPF sets up more check points and sand bunkers in restive Kashmir

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct. 29 : In the wake of schools, building and large number of vehicles being burnt or damaged in cross firing, the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has decided to set up more check and sand bunkers to prevent any untoward incident in restive Kashmir.

For the last fortnight, people have complained about feeling unsafe and worried about their properties.

"The main purpose is to check cars at strategic points so that the public does not face any problem and we can keep a tab on the movement of city traffic," said CRPF Commandant R.K. Choudry.

"The places that we have decided to keep a tab on have its own importance and this new strategy is another step to restore normalcy in the state," he added.

Centre undermining justice delivery system by delaying judicial appointments: Congress

New Delhi [India], Oct. 29 : With the Supreme Court tearing into the government for disrupting the functioning of the judiciary by delaying appointments of high court judges, the Congress party on Saturday called on the Centre to take a call on the issue immediately as it was denying people justice by keeping these positions vacant.

Branding the entire series of developments as utterly serious, Congress party leader Anand Sharma told ANI here that the Narendra Modi-led Centre cannot escape its responsibility and accountability, adding that it was an "alterable" situation that 456 positions of high court judges are vacant in the country.
