Tamil film actor is all set to become third Indian driver to participate in the FIA Formula Two championship racing event to be held at Silverstone in England this year.

The 39-year old Ajith confirmed on Wednesday that he will compete in the Formula 2 along with his partners Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren. Ebrahim will be participating in the Formula 2 for the second time while Parthiva will make comeback after a break.

Actor Ajith Kumar has now signed FIA Formula 2 racing tournament ready to kick-start on April 16. It's worth mentioning that the actor had made his racing debut in 2003 with Formula BMW Asia Series. Off the late, Ajith Kumar took part in British Formula 3 Series at UK in 2004. It was a pretty tough competition at the National Class and ended up scoring two podium finishes.
