Hull vow to fight off approaches for defender Turner
London - Hull City vowed on Wednesday that they will not sell centre-back Michael Turner in the January transfer window.
Turner has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester City after an excellent start to the season. But Hull chairman Paul Duffen insisted he will not be sold.
"There are no players that have regularly played in the first team that we are going to be selling in January," Duffen told The Mirror.
Manager Phil Brown has also moved to dismiss speculation linking the club with a bid for Manchester United forward Fraizer Campbell, who is on loan at Tottenham Hotspur. (dpa)
