Transcend has made announcement of the availability of its new high capacity 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable hard drive in the Indian market.

The StoreJet 2.5 SATA is available in a colorful assortment of eye-catching, polished aluminum cases including Titanium (120GB), Blue (160GB) and Silver (250GB).

It comes with high-speed USB 2.0 interface, and transfers data at a speed of 480 Mbits per second. Its "OneTouch" Auto-Backup button makes external storage simpler and more generative

It bundles Transcend’s ‘StoreJet elite 2.0 software,’ which offers up quick backup scheduling, safety and power saving functions

StoreJet 2.5 backs up all commonly used operating systems including Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac OS 9.0/OS X, and Linux Kernel 2.4.2 or later.

The 250GB StoreJet 2.5 SATA portable HDD is available on MRP Rs. 7900 from Mediaman Infotech Pvt Ltd and Supertron Electronics Limited countrywide.
