Arab League hails Sheikha Fatima's efforts in the woman's cause
Dhabi, Nov 12th, 2008 : The second conference of the Arab Women
Organization is a spontaneous translation of HH Sheikha Fatima's
genuine concern for the human security in general and the human rights
of women in particular, a senior official of the Arab League said.
Speaking
to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the fringes of the second edition
of the Arab Women Organisation, currently in progress in the capital of
UAE, the Assistant Secretary General of Arab League Dr. Seema Bahouth
said that the media strategy for women launched at the conference will
play an effective role in changing the conventional picture of Arab
women, and will enormously empower women to face the future challenges.
The
Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs at the Arab League said
that Sheikha Fatima's efforts for the renaissance of Arab woman is
based on strong faith in human prosperity, as inspired by the teachings
of Islam. Her efforts stepped out from the shadow of the exemplary
model of relentless work set by the Late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al
Nahyan for the human security, Dr, Seema Bahouth pointed out.
The
second AWO conference is being held under the presidentship of the
Mother of UAE HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, and is discussing the
status of woman and the human security, in Arab and international
