Seoul - The South Korean car maker Hyundai has extended the engine choice of its i10 city car with the addition of a 1.2-litre cylinder motor with an output of 57 kw/78 hp.

Consumption is listed at five litres per 100 kilometres with a carbon dioxide emission figure of 119 grams per kilometre. The top speed is 164 km/h. Hyundai is selling the i10 1.2 on European markets at a basic price of 10,390 euros (14,453 dollars). (dpa)
