Hong Kong - A US businessman is believed to have fallen to his death from the balcony of his kitchen in Hong Kong after a drinking spree, police confirmed Tuesday.

The 38-year-old, surnamed Nungary, was found by a friend lying outside his apartment building around 5:30 am Monday in Hollywood Road, central Hong Kong.

Police were unable to confirm which floor the man lived on, but said that initial investigations revealed the accident happened after he had been drinking heavily on Sunday night.

The investigation was continuing Tuesday. (dpa)
