Security beefed up around Kathmandu’s Narayanhity PalaceKathmandu, May 28 : As the Constituent Assembly (CA) prepares to officially remove the monarchy in Nepal, authorities have beefed up security around the Narayanhity Palace.

According to Nepalnews, strict security has been put in place by the army in and around the palace.

According to sources, nobody will be allowed inside the palace for three days.

“For the security of the interior of the palace, six tanks have been put in place to stop the entry of any unauthorised person,” said the source.

The government had decided to provide five rings of security for the palace.

Political parties and civil society across the Nepal have prepared to hold major rallies and demonstrations to celebrate republic today. (ANI)
