Love and kindness will create harmony: Lady Gaga denounces 'celebrity and fame'
London [UK], Dec. 3 : Lady Gaga reminded her London fans that kindness is more important than fame as she promoted her new album 'Joanne' on the roof of one of Britain's biggest shopping centres.
The 30-year-old singer, who has an estimated net worth of more than 250 million dollars, performed for an audience of competition winners at Westfield shopping centre in west London, where she denounced the evils of money and fame, The Guardian reports.
"Money has been put on a pedestal, beauty has been put on a pedestal, celebrity has been put on a pedestal. I have travelled the world and seen the happiest people in the poorest parts of the world. Their values are intact," she began.
"In the richest homes I meet the saddest and most depressed people. With this album I wanted to remind the whole world and my fans that the most important things are love and kindness. Kindness is what will create harmony, not celebrity and not fame," the 'Million Reasons' singer told the audience.
' Joanne' entered the UK downloads chart at number one after it was released in October. (ANI)
