Peshawar, Apr 24 : A shopkeeper has been shot dead by militants in the restive Pakistani tribal region accusing him of “spying for US forces.”

The body of the tribesman, who used to run a grocery store in a town near the Afghan border, was dumped in Miranshah.

“This man has met his fate because he was spying for the American and Afghan forces and giving them help,” the Dawn quoted a note left on the body, as stating.

“Whoever helps American forces will meet the same fate,” the note further stated.

According to the residents of Miranshah, the victim was picked up from a bus stop last week. (ANI)
