BMW appoints Infinity Cars as first dealer for MINI in India
German luxury carmaker, BMW has appointed Infinity Cars as the first dealer for its MINI models in the fast growing Indian market.
Infinity Cars has launched the MINI, MINI Convertible and MINI Countryman at its showroom at Mumbai’s fashion high street. The 12,000 square foot, two-storey facility of the company is currently housing the entire MINI lineup for the country. The service centre for the models will be located in Worli and Chembur in the city.
The facility will soon include an international cuisine all day dining restaurant. Pooja Choudary, the managing director of Infinity Cars is aiming to combine cars, food and music together to offer a unique experience to the customers.
BMW launched its popular MINI brand in India on Thursday. The models in the premium range costs between Rs 25.5 lakh and Rs 35.9 lakh, ex-showroom. The MINI will be offered in exclusive outlets in Mumbai and Delhi. India will be the 100th market for the MINI brand.
BMW Group India president Andreas Schaaf said, “MINI is more than just a car - it is a personality on wheels, a fashion statement, and a way of life. Our main focus this year will be to concentrate on establishing the brand.”
Infinity Cars has had a successful association with the BMW Group over the last five years.
