Samsung releases Galaxy Note ad aimed at AppleSouth Korean electronics giant, Samsung has released a new ad of Galaxy Note smartphone that takes a jab at rival, Apple.

Samsung's new Super Bowl ad claims that it can help Apple fanboys and fangirls that are lining up in San Francisco. In the ad, the apple fans loose faith and look for alternatives.

In the ad, the people lining up see Galaxy Note and notice that it has a pen and immediately break away from the lines. The 90-second ad directed by Bobby Farrelly is directly aimed at Apple's fan base.

Galaxy Note, which is available for order today is being prompted by the South Korean giant aggressively. The commercial calls it a pen with the smartphone but it is actually a stylus.

Galaxy Note is now available for order in the market. The ad is a fun way to attract customers of the company that dominated the smartphone market in the US. The new Galaxy Note tablet, which is being positioned as a replacement for pen and paper, features 5.3 inch Super AMOLED screen and is powered by Android Gingerbread. The device comes with a pressure-sensitive "S Pen" that can be used to write, draw and annotate a variety of contents.

The concept was earlier used in HTC Flyer but the users had to buy the optional kit separately. Note, with its smaller screen size is more similar to a standard notepad. The tablet is 9.65mm wide and weighs 178g.

Samsung is betting big on the "S Pen" concept and has released a software development kit (SDK) so third-party developers are able to write apps for the stylus. Andrew Coughlin, head of account for Samsung Europe said that the device comes with a memo application that can be quickly launched on the device to take notes.
