Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd. has declared its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10 and it has managed to post an impressive rise in net profit figure after a net loss last year.

The company has posted a net profit of Rs 1.3 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010.

The company was reported to have a net loss of Rs 103 crore for the same quarter in the financial year 2008-09. This has been informed by Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.

So far as the total income of the firm is concerned, it has grown up to Rs 433.8 crore during the January-March period of fiscal year 2009-10. It was Rs 216.3 crore for the like period in the financial year 2008-09.

The annual consolidated net profit of the company was reported to be fallen down to Rs 20.4 crore for the year under review from last year's figure by 76.63%.

The board has decided to recommend a dividend of Rs 1 per equity share for the financial year 2009-10 subject to the approval of the shareholders.
