S R F announced a phenomenal increase in standalone net profit for the three month period ended March 2010.

During the period, the company's profit rose 5.23 times to Rs 1,106.50 million as compared to Rs 211.50 million during the same quarter of 2009.

Net sales during the three month period climbed 65.82% to Rs 6,757.40 million, whereas total income during the quarter soared 66.39% to Rs 6,800.40 million, when compared with the prior year period.

The company rcorded earnings of Rs 18.29 per share during the quarter, registering 5.48 times increase over prior year period.

SRF is a multi-business unit involved in the production of chemical based industrial intermediates.
