$11 lost in a week by Crude oil prices As traders reacted to a blustery week in equities and commodities, Crude oil prices dropped to close to $75 a barrel in New York.

It has been reported that traders are weighing inventory data and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico against a dramatic downturn in equity markets, highlighted by a near free-fall Thursday that pushed the Dow Jones industrial average off 3.2 percent.

On Friday, the DJIA dropped another 1.3 percent.

It was further reported that June delivery crude oil prices shed $2.01 from a prior settlement to $75.10 per barrel, down more than $11 in four trading sessions.

Loosing 0.0287 cents, heating oil futures for June went down to $2.085 per gallon. Settling at $2.1289 per gallon, reformulated gasoline blend-stock prices lost 0.0274 cents.

It was also reported that Henry Hub natural gas futures for June added 0.07 cents to $3.999 per million British thermal units.

According to reports of AAA, at the pump, the national average price for unleaded gasoline fell Friday to $2.922 per gallon, down from Thursday's $2.929. (With Inputs from Agencies)
