Microsoft drops Courier

Microsoft drops CourierThe prototype of the Microsoft's tablet- Courier has been called off as the software maker is no more interested in manufacturing the tablet, reports technology blog Gizmodo.

The market was gearing up as the video created enough hype for the tablet which was supposed to be a touch-enabled interactive tablet PC like journal.

In the light of this matter Microsoft's corporate vice president for communications Frank Shaw, stated that the company is continuing its reach on developing a new interactive technology but the plans to bring out Courier is clearly a 'No' in the future.

According to the released video the tablet device was more shaped like a journal which was relied on the touch-base technology for penning down notes, to saving and doing all sorts of tasks what a tablet PC can perform.

Courier as the expert's state if it were to be released would have given a definite competition to the iPad.
