Virgin wins hands down, HTC Galaxy Portal & Xperia in pool
Virgin Mobile is continuing its trend to amaze users with its virtual network. This time it has invited the lucrative smartphone sets available in the market to tag along the network of Virgin.
Its Plans, such as unlimited text & data pre-pay tariff, unlimited minutes tariff and rock bottom £5pm mobile broadband etc, drew attention of a number of users who recently increased its database. This sudden advent led cellular phone biggies such as HTC, Samsung and Sony fall for it.
Following the launch of LG InTouch Max, Virgin renounced association with HTC Desire, Galaxy Portal and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 in the coming months. This is believed to be in close sync with Vodafone's earlier deal, which was clinched against X10, Legend and Nexus One.
However, it is yet to be seen which network dominates the world of smartphone industry.
