Mahindra Satyam receives order worth Rs 38 crore
IT company Mahindra Satyam has revealed that it has bagged contracts worth Rs 38 crore (about 3 crore UAE dirhams) in the middle east as well as North African region (MENA) in the second three month period of Financial Year 2009-10.
As per official sources, through these new pacts, the company has decided to deliver SAP, Oracle as well as Business Intelligence Solutions.
Representatives of Mahindra Satyam stated in a communiqué that the conglomerate is also fortifying its resources to leverage the increasing demand within the government, banking, telecom as well as real estate sectors in the MENA region.
Earlier this fiscal, the scam-hit company was acquired by Tech Mahindra, the IT subsidiary of USD 6.3-billion Mahindra group, and was assigned a new name, Mahindra Satyam.
The sources informed that the company is searching options to increase its business by two-fold in the region in the upcoming 18 to 24 months.
