Six killed in train-car collision in Punjab
Jagraon (Punjab), Feb 26: Six people were killed in a train-car collision at an unmanned crossing in Jagraon, some 50-kilometers from Ludhiana on Monday.
The accident took place around 7.20 p. m. when the Ludhiana-Ferozpur bound passenger train was passing.
" There is a railway level crossing where a Maruti car coming from Jalalabad to Jagraon, which dragged the car to about 200 to 250 meters, in which husband Balwinder, his wife Kamal, their three children and another lady were killed," said Satnam Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police. (ANI)
