KEI Industries Q4 net zooms 2.59 times
KEI Industries has announced that it has recorded a phenomenal growth of 2.59% in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2009.
During the reporting quarter, the company has clocked a net profit of Rs 167.76 million as compared to Rs 64.83 million in the same quarter last year.
However, company’s net sales have witnessed a dip of 9.11% to Rs 2,349 million, while total income for the quarter went down 9.48% to Rs 2,349.28 million, when compared with the prior year period.
The company has reported earnings of Rs 2.76 a share during the quarter, registering 2.58 times growth over prior year period.
Further, company’s board has recommended a dividend of 10% equaling Rs 0.20 for per equity share of Rs 2.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.25, or 4.97%, to settle at Rs 26 on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The total volume of shares traded was 36,843 at the BSE.
