Big B aka the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is all set to add another feather to his cap.

The big news doing the rounds is that Big B is going to launch his own news channel by the name India 24/7.

Confirming the development, a source close to the superstar said, “Apparently, Amitabh Bachchan is starting a news channel called India 24/7 and the preparations for starting it, is on in full swing. It is being planned in collaboration with a big corporate house. Of course, right now nobody wants to confirm anything and everything is hush-hush."

It is learnt that the idea occurred to Big B when he was shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming project ‘Rann’. The movie has him playing Harshvardhan Malik, the owner of a TV channel called, India 24/7!

However, no formal announcement has been made by Bog B. But insiders do feel that a news channel from the superstar is very much on the cards.
