London, December 25 : Lindsay Lohan has put herself side by side with Britney Spears when it comes to struggling with fame publicly.

While the `Mean Girls' actress had been arrested in 2007 on drink driving charges, subsequently landing in rehab as one of her many problems, Britney had undergone a series of public meltdown, in addition to having lost custody of her two sons.

Writing on her MySpace. com blog, Lindsay praised the `Toxic' hitmaker for her attempts to get her life back on track while comparing her own plight with the recovering singer, reports the Sun.

She wrote: "I feel like Britney Spears is an amazing talent, and she has gone through a lot, (just as i have) in the public eye which is not necessarily a bad thing."

"It teaches young girls and boys that there are certain things in life that you should not let get in the way of your dreams and accomplishments.

She continued: "Also that you need to take care of yourself before anyone else, and i mean anyone and everyone else. So YAY Britney for just being you and still following through with your dreams." (ANI)
