According to a recent update from the chief of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat - who clears the air over the capabilities of the indigenously manufactured Arjun tank.

Arjun is a battle tank which is a sturdy, robust vehicle competent to charge in wars. It was further rubbished that it is undergoing a series of revaluations vis-a-vis the Russian T-90 main battle tanks.

According to Dr. Saraswat's statements, 'this is a normal process of identifying the role the tank will play in the plans which involved small trial of the tank's role in the overall arsenal of the Army'.

He was very much perturbed with issues like these and also aimed to nullify all of them with valid justifications. He also confronted the concern which grew over the INSAS (Indian Small arms System) rifles stating that, 'there were no grievances in the INSAS rifle if any persists, must be local in nature'. India focuses on discussing and developing new forms of technologies. It also targets to lay hands-on the latest technological advancements.
