Nissan announce pricing details of new Micra
Automaker, Nissan has announced pricing details of the new version of its Micra, which offers an impressive fuel economy comparable to a diesel engine.
The new Micra uses direct injection petrol supercharger technology to offer improved fuel economy. The new range will come with a starting price of £11,150, which is just £1000 more than the standard 1.2 DIG engine.
The company claims that the new Micra DIG-S has carbon dioxide emissions of 95g/km for the Visia version with 68.9mpg in fuel economy and 99g/km for the Acenta and Tekna models with 65.7mpg in fuel economy.
Nissan has managed to improve performance even with improved fuel economy. The DIG-S option offers power output at 98PS, compared to just 80PS for the model with supercharger technology.
The company has announced that low-end Visia will have a starting price of £11,150 with air conditioning as standard, the Acenta will start from 12,150, and the high-end Tekna will start at £13,650.
