Nepalese man survives flight in aircraft cargo container
Kathmandu - A Nepalese man survived a flight locked inside an airliner's cargo container, media reports said Monday.
A Qatar Airways worker named Govinda Karki was accidentally locked inside a cargo container as he was loading it and was flown to Kathmandu from Doha, the Nepal Samacharpatra newspaper reported.
"There was considerable commotion when authorities opened the container and found a man unconscious," the newspaper said.
Karki was admitted to a Kathmandu hospital and was later discharged.
Karki would be flying back to the Gulf nation soon to resume his work, the newspaper said, citing Qatar Airways. (dpa)
